Pathophysiological Phenomena in Nursing Human Responses to Illness
The purpose of this book is to provide, in one source, a composite of information and a conceptual integrative approach for examining selected pathophysiological phenomena, human responses to illness. We have prepared this book to focus attention on phenomena/human responses that are of most interest to professional nurses. The pathophysiological phenomena are those which nurses assume a major role in assessing, monitoring, managing, and evaluating. The content presented and the approach used will be most helpful to nurse clinicians, advenced baccalaureate degree and graduate nursing students, faculty, and researchers.
